Annie Mist Thorisdottir. CrossFit professional athlete hailing from Reykjavik Iceland. She also coaches and instructor for Crossfit Reykjavik. Annie is the only woman ever to win the two CrossFit Games. Her second place was both in 2010, and in 2014. Annie Thorisdottir - an Icelandic weightlifter and CrossFit athlete and a media celebrity - is a CrossFit athletes from Iceland. Her fame stems from her being the first woman who won in the CrossFit Games twice in 2011 as well as 2012. A winner in both the Dubai Fitness Competition 2013 and the Dubai Fitness Competition in 2017, Annie is well-known. Annie was raised in Iceland's Reykjavik area along with her parents and siblings. As a child she was an avid lover of exercise and sports. She was a participant in numerous school activities and won a number of medals. In 2009, she was the first participant in the CrossFit games at California in which she did well in initial games. Annie Thorisdottir is 31, (by in 2021). She stands 5'7 tall, and weighs approximately 67 kg. Annie began the CrossFit journey in 2009 California. She performed well during the first few matches. Annie was ranked among the top 10 out of more than 70. But she did not take home any titles and ended her tournament in the 11th position. In 2010 Annie finished 1st in European Regionals Qualifier. At the CrossFit Games under the guidance of her coach Jami Tikkanen she finished second place, and also won the silver medal same year. It was her second year of competition that she competed again in CrossFit Games. Due to her outstanding performance, she was the first female athlete to win CrossFit Games. Annie was a winner, having an outstanding performance in 2012 CrossFit Games performance, became the first woman in history to be crowned the winner of both CrossFit Games. She also took home a gold. In 2021, she took home with a bronze. Annie works as a trainer and coach for Crossfit Reykjavik. It was her concept. In the last few years, as an athlete, Annie is a model for a number of brands in sports, such as Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs Renaissance Periodization Nuun Hydration Sidekick Yerbae and many others. Her own Youtube page boasts over 1,000 subscribers, where she posts videos of her family, travel and other topics along with training and diet plans.
